Streamvane

Compare

How Streamvane compares on real-time Genesys analytics

Honest comparison: Streamvane vs Genesys native analytics, A3S, AppFoundry BI connectors, dashboard vendors and custom SI builds — for real-time KPI delivery.

A single narrow path on one side and a branching multi-destination path on the other, weighed in balance

The honest comparison matrix

Every option below is genuinely good at something — we'll say so plainly. But each one also hits a wall the moment a Genesys KPI has to live in more than one place, stay consistent across teams, or sit inside infrastructure you own. That wall is the whole reason Streamvane exists. Read the limitation column as “where this approach stops” and the Streamvane angle as “where we pick the KPI up and keep going.”

Head to head

When to choose us — and when not to

We'll recommend the other option in discovery if it's clearly the better fit.

vs Genesys native dashboards

Choose them when supervisors only need to monitor inside the platform.

Choose Streamvane when KPIs must reach WFM, BI, legacy HTTP or APIs with your definitions, in your own cloud.

vs Genesys Analytics Add-on (A3S)

Choose them when hosted analytics on a Genesys-aligned stack is the primary outcome.

Choose Streamvane when you want a reactive-processing + connector fabric in your own cloud feeding multiple operational systems.

vs Noralogix / Repo361 Power BI connector

Choose them when you need the fastest no-code Genesys → Power BI dataset and AppFoundry procurement fits.

Choose Streamvane when Power BI is one consumer among several (WFM feeds, APIs, RabbitMQ) and you require client-owned cloud.

vs Dashboard vendors (Brightmetrics, displayDings)

Choose them when you want polished wallboards and visualization UX above all else.

Choose Streamvane when you need KPI data contracts and integration depth — feeds, APIs, message bus — behind the visuals.

vs Building in-house

Choose them when you have a strong platform team, time and a mandate to own all the IP.

Choose Streamvane when you want weeks-to-pilot on proven Genesys reactive-processing patterns, not quarters of bespoke work.

vs Spreadsheets & manual exports

Choose them when a one-off CSV pull genuinely answers a single, occasional question.

Choose Streamvane when the same numbers are needed continuously, reconciled and trusted across teams — not re-keyed every morning.

“But do you do dashboards?”

Yes — we ship dashboards too. We just lead with the data behind them.

Streamvane includes a real-time visualization layer for Power BI, Grafana and Kibana. We'll be honest: a dedicated wallboard vendor may give you slicker out-of-the-box visuals. What we guarantee is that every board — ours or theirs — reads the same sub-second, reconciled KPI, so the wallboard, the BI report and the downstream system never disagree.

Decision guide

Three questions to find your fit

  1. 1

    Where must the KPI go?

Only the Genesys UI → native tools. External systems → an integration fabric.

  2. 2

    How many sinks?

One BI tool → evaluate AppFoundry. Many → Streamvane.

  3. 3

    Who owns the pipeline?

Vendor-hosted is acceptable → connectors. Client Azure required → Streamvane.

A note on Noralogix's market size

Noralogix does not publish a verified customer count. Treat them as a credible niche AppFoundry ISV — cite their case-study scale (2,000+ queues, 250+ agents) as proof of deployment size per client, not as a headcount comparison.

They're a serious integration alternative, not “just dashboards.” The opening: multi-sink and feed-first buyers are often underserved by a BI-centric path.
